Is Bed Bath and Beyond going bankrupt?

Someone at my work sent me an e-mail saying several home goods stores were going bankrupt, including BB %26amp; B. Looking around online, it looked like Linens n' Things was going bankrupt but not Bed Bath and Beyond. Can anyone confirm this one way or the other? Is Bed Bath and Beyond going bankrupt?

NO! Bed Bath and Beyond is NOT going bankrupt, seeing as it's a cash-flow company and is doing VERY well. It's Linen's N' Things and a few other home stores who filed for bankruptcy. Whoever posted those blogs about BB%26amp;B did not have their facts right. So people, stop spreading your rumors about Bed Bath and Beyond, they still accept gift cards, and always WILL. They have MUCH better customer service than LNT, and have a wider selection of (yes,) similar items, especially on their online store. BB%26amp;B is still opening stores, and there is no chance in hell they will file for bankruptcy in the near future.
I just got a call from my aunt saying that she heard bb%26amp;b is filing for bankruptcy and won't be honoring gift cards eventually...she also said it was their intent to pull out of it (maybe just filing for bankruptcy protection?) She called me out of concern since my wedding registry is there...i wasn't able to confirm the information via the world wide web
i heard that a couple days ago on yahoo answers and i said i did not think so.because i love that store bed and bath.someone out there is spreading the wrong infomation.
Linens %26amp; Things just did file for bankruptcy, May 2nd, but that might actually have a good effect for BBB. Here is a link to the Yahoo Finance site with news on BBB.

According to CNN Money, Linens and things has declared Chapter 11, but not Bed Bath and Beyond, which is supposedly doing amazingly well
Lots of business are having problems; check out this site.

I hope it clears up things for you.
Is there a difference between Bed Bath Stores and Bed Bath and Beyond? If so, is it the Bed Bath Stores going bankrupt?
