Is it okay to take a bath and shave your legs right after you get out of the tanning bed?

I heard a long time ago that you shouldn't bathe or shve your legs within like 5 hours of when you last went to the tanning bed. Is this true?Is it okay to take a bath and shave your legs right after you get out of the tanning bed?
beats me why it shouldn't be OK.

Everybody who has ever been at the beach or swimming pool has been tanning and then gone for a swim.

If you get a sunburn though, your skin will be sensitive. Then the shaving part probably won't be fun. But then I guess you shouldn't use a tanning bed until you get a sunburn. Is it okay to take a bath and shave your legs right after you get out of the tanning bed?
No, I do both everytime I leave the tanning bed and nothing has ever happened to me. I'm 22 and I have been tanning on and off since I was 17.
you can do both straight away, its if you are using fake tan you cant do both for about 6 hours.
no its not okj

Utilities aren't very expensive for a rental. I rent a 2 bedroom apartment and pay approx. $30 per month for electric. Gas is more expensive but since you'll live in FL, you won't have a high bill for heating, just hot water.

What form of lavender i should use and how for bed time bath for my five month old baby so that he may sleep?

i have started giving bed time bath to my 5 month pld baby as solution for sleepless nights.. its just one day i started, i want to know which form of lavender can be used for bath and how it can be used. i live in new delhi, let me know from where i can get it.. i want him to sleep all nightWhat form of lavender i should use and how for bed time bath for my five month old baby so that he may sleep?
First, try to make sure that he's not allergic to lavender. I found my daughter (and myself)... we're both allergic to it. It doesn't make for a calming scent when you're reacting to it. :)

As for where... I don't know. I'm sorry. I don't live there. But, there is a Wal-mart in Amritsar. I know that they typically carry some main brands that have lavender in them.

Personally, for us, my daughter loves her bedtime bath, then a book with dimmed lights, a snuggle (at 5 months, a bottle) and then bed. The scents and lotions never helped us. Though she DID love to have a massage with baby-oil or any lotion that she didn't react to. I kept my movements slow and calming, and that helped.

At that age, she also had to have her sound-machine so that there was a constant sound, and sometimes needed to be swaddled, and sometimes needed pain medicine for teething. Just throwing some other ideas that might help. :)What form of lavender i should use and how for bed time bath for my five month old baby so that he may sleep?
Just answering your question as a mother, I would be very careful what and how much I would add to bathwater. Your baby may get a skin reaction, then would definitely not settle.

With babies, as they are all different little individuals, you can try bathing before bedtime, but I don't think the type of lavender will matter, just not much and don't get it on the baby's skin.

They tend to make their own routine, but you can keep to a routine of active time in the morning, then quiet time in the evening ending with bath, food and bed. For example, even if they have been up during the night, if say you get baby back to sleep at 5am in the morning, I would have a few hours sleep, but then get up and make lots of noise so they may wake up again and get use the morning being the active time, then lunch nap time, then noisy again a few hours later, then activity before dinner say around 5-6pm, then start the winding down ritual of bathing, perhaps even massage with some unscented oil, not too much (not olive oil, perhaps sunflower oil, or peanut) -then food and hopefully bed..... this may work over time, but don't worry too much if they keep changing - that is their personality coming out! Enjoy your baby, and try to rest when they rest.
I use Aveeno Calming baby wash with lavender and vanilla.

I don't think it's so much the scent that helps with bedtime, but more so the ritual and baby knows the routine. Just keep doing what you're doing, if it seems that baby is enjoying it, and hopefully he/she will sleep more when developmentally ready! Good luck :)
Johnson's makes a great Bedtime Baby Wash, as well as Bedtime Lotion. WalMart makes an equivelant, but it does not suds up or smell as good as Johnson's. I would not try to make one, but buy one that is made already. It is not guaranteed to make babies sleep through the night though. It never did mine...
I use johnson's lavender baby wash. Maybe try giving your baby a massage afterwards...it works wonders!
Get the Johnson's Bedtime Bath at Target or Walmart.
Well I buy Bedtime bath and its lavender. If you find a secret lavender that is going to make him sleep ALL night pass some this way.
we just use j and j's lavendar line, it smells wonderful; and after all the washing and splashing, i think she would sleep no matter what we used...

Where can I find a 2 bed 2 bath apartment that is under $1200/mo and close to downtown?

preferably with oversized/walk in closets, washer dryers in unit, gated.Where can I find a 2 bed 2 bath apartment that is under $1200/mo and close to downtown?
Downtown where? I would check the newspaper first and also check with Real Estate companies, many of them have rental property, or ask them for a referral. Best Wishes and Happy apartment hunting

Dose linins and things accept bed bath coupons?

I believe they do. I've never tried it, but did ask the salesperson once, and she told me they do. This was at Linens and Things.Dose linins and things accept bed bath coupons?
Before you go, call them so you don't waste your time or gas to go to the store.

Or,

check online to see if they except that.

What is a good schedule for a newborn who is breastfeeding? please including feeding times, naps and bed bath?

I have two kids, ages 5 and 2. I breastfed both of them for 15 months, and introduced them to solids around 5 months. Personally, I used a schedule starting when they were about 15 days old. I never had any problems with this, and found my kids were happier with a routine. I'm not a nazi schedule mom, and be aware that your child may not be happy with a 3 hour schedule. Some newborns do better on a 2.5 hour schedule. This is just basic routine. I also don't believe in letting my kids sleep with me, and I found that keeping my babies in a laundry basket right by my bedside was the easiest way to get around with them when they were first born. This schedule will change, but something like this should help you establish a routine with your little one.

6 am -- feeding,

go right back to sleep

9 am - feeding,

followed by play time, then back to sleep

noon - feeding,

play time, back to sleep

3 pm - feeding , play time, back to sleep

5 or 6 pm - they might get fussy this time of day, feeding, often need

a bit more comforting (snuggling, holding), may go to sleep, but it's

better to keep them awake until bath time.

bath time for babies (Always bathe baby before bed in the evening, not in the morning. Morning baths make them want to sleep all day.)

8 pm - Nice, long feeding, put to bed for the night

Expect baby to wake up at least 1 time during the night to feed. Mine always did around 3 am for the first few weeks. What is a good schedule for a newborn who is breastfeeding? please including feeding times, naps and bed bath?
I followed my daughters signs for hunger, but I had a routine for bath time %26amp; bedtime everynight. by 7 weeks she was sleeping through the night %26amp; has been ever since. (she is now 18 months old).

By 6.30pm I gave her a bath everynight (not just when she is dirty say 4-5 days, you try to **** %26amp; piss in your pants just have a wipe, change your knickers %26amp; then not have a shower or bath for 4-5 days??!! Not nice eh??) after bath 10 min slow massage front %26amp; back, not too hard (when on her tummy make sure their head is facing the side.)

7pm good feed with lights down low or just tv on but quiet. I left the tv on so she could hear it so she thought she wasn't alone. (she could not see the tv just hear it).

When she woke a couple of times in the night i would always change her bum first before i fed her as after would wake her up!! As soon as she finished feeding, back to bed straight away.

During the day, if she wakes before 6 feed %26amp; back to bed, after 6, feed %26amp; play/stimulation, tummy time, when showing hungry again maybe 2-3 hrs after feed %26amp; bed, repeat play/sleep until bathtime.

as the baby gets older %26amp; starts eating solids you push the bathtime to 6:45, 7:00, 7:30. You drop a couple of day sleeps until they have 1 in the morning %26amp; 1 in the afternoon, not after 4pm as they will not go to bed at the bedtime.

Even if the child is in bed not crying just playing byself just leave them to go to sleep by themselves.

This is what has worked for me time %26amp; time again.

Children even babies need routine or youll be having kids that dont go to bed untill 11-12 at night %26amp; getting up at 10-11 in the morning %26amp; you will not be able to do anything for yourself/husband/boyfriend/house.

Good luck!!!What is a good schedule for a newborn who is breastfeeding? please including feeding times, naps and bed bath?
Feeding should happen when hungry, naps as needed, and bathing every couple of days. In a couple of weeks he/she should fall into their own routine which, as you adjust to it, will change as his/her needs change. (Ex: growth spurts @ 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, ect where they may seem to eat constantly are normal)
Newborns don't need schedules set by their parents. You offer to nurse at least every 1-2 hours and allow him/her to nurse whenever you notice possible signs of hunger. A newborn will go to sleep when s/he wants for both nap and bedtime. All you can do is keep the house bright during the day and dark at night to help him/her learn day and night.
You're joking, right?

Newborns, especially breastfed newborns, don't conform to schedules. You feed them when they are hungry. They nap when they are sleepy. About the only thing you can do schedule-wise is bath them at roughly the same time of day and keep it dark and quiet at night.
Throw away all your clocks. Nurse when baby is hungry. Nap when baby is sleepy. Bathe when baby is dirty. Go to bed when baby passes out.

ETA: You nurse baby as long as she wants on one breast, then offer the other. Seriously, throw away the clock, and just pay attention to baby's cues.
You do not schedule, you feed you baby on demand and let them sleep when they need to sleep.

Trying to put a newborn on a schedule is not a good idea and potentially harmful.

Just follow your baby's lead.
When a breastfed baby is allowed to feed whenever he wants he actually changes the breast milk so it has exactly what he needs. Trying to use a schedule will most likely hurt your supply.
baby is hungry - feed

baby is done eating and falls asleep - nap

you have time to clear enough space and baby is not crying or sleeping - bath

bed time................ yeah right, when ever possible.

Sorry the way you worded the question you really sounded like a first time parent that thinks you can schedule a newborn and really especially if you are nursing that just doesn't work. You need to offer the breast often and as long as baby wants it. there is no time limit or really any guidelines since every baby and woman is different, some newborns will need to nurse for 30 minutes every hour, some will only nurse for 10 minutes every couple of hours. It is normal to expect baby to nurse at least every 2 hours, if you have a fast let down and the milk comes fast then baby may not need to nurse for very long, but if the milk comes slower it will take longer, unfortunately there is really no way to know how it will work out ahead of time. In my experience it is best to nurse on just one side per session, that way you know for sure the breast is getting drained well and baby is getting the richer creamy hind milk, switching breasts too soon before baby has drained the first side can lead to your supply decreasing and baby getting too much thin lower fat fore milk which can cause reduced weight gain and runny diapers.

You said you didn't have enough milk for your first, it is very rare for a woman to not be able to produce enough milk, you may just need to nurse more often and not offer any supplements, it can take 2 - 5 days for your milk to come in after the baby is born, and often women think that because it has taken so long they are just not going to produce any or enough milk, baby will be just fine with only the colostrum for these first few days and the more often they nurse the faster and stronger your milk supply will come in. Just be patient and remember help is available from lactation consultants and nurses while you are in the hospital and La Leche League after, since you had issues the first time around and want to nurse this time is would probably be a good idea to touch bases with the LLL in your area now before baby comes, you can get some great coaching and meet other nursing moms that you will be able to call on if you need help after baby arrives.

Good Luck
Is it even possible to put a newborn on a schedule?
a newborn breastfeeding drinks on demand. Naps when tired. Baths every 4 or 5 days is fine.

Me and my partner got our baby bathed, fed then put to bed at 7.30pm-he wont sleep now, what can we do?

he is 4 months and up till 10pm-3 hours tryin to get him to sleep he is wide awake cooing-we feed him a good amount,rock/sway him to sleep %26amp; cuddle but nothing as if his grown out his routine!this is becomin a big problem as i do shift work sometimes nites!!what is the best thing too do to get him A) sleeping and B) back to his or a new routine?????

plz help-thanks!!!!!Me and my partner got our baby bathed, fed then put to bed at 7.30pm-he wont sleep now, what can we do?
warm milk! definitely!Me and my partner got our baby bathed, fed then put to bed at 7.30pm-he wont sleep now, what can we do?
Go back to the basic- make sure you are feeding him at the regular intervals. If he doesn't get all his calories in during the day, he will want them at night. At this age, your baby shouldn't be sleeping more than 4 -5 hours during the day. If you feel like he is starting a new phase and routine, go with his cues and let him show you what he needs.

It's so hard to not stress over this, I am going through the same thing with my 3 month old! We'll make it through and our babies will be just fine! :)
Well 7:30 is to early to put him to bed anyway! His routine is going to change all the time, you will just have to deal with it, til he is older!
my parents used to put me in the car and drive around till i fell asleep. they said it always worked fairly quickly too.
hes obviously changing his schedule, perhaps 10 is when he feels tired %26amp; ready to go to bed. my daughter would go to sleep by 10 but she now knocks out at 8pm. try making the room dark %26amp; dont talk to him when trying to put him to sleep
To begin with, keep him quiet at nearly bedtime. You see is you play, or talk excitedly to your baby that puts his in a state of excitement and obviously he won't go to bed.; Another thing too he is getting very cute to realise that you will rock him or cuddle him to sleep. Babies learn very quickly that they can manipulate a situation to their advantage and what do us parents do take the bait.

The thing to do now, is bathe him, give him his bottle, very quietly put him to bed, light out, door closed. Try to put him to bed a few minutes earlier each night until you get to a reasonable time that you think it right for him.

Also if you are UK based talk to your Health Visitor, they are a mind of information and years of experience.

Good Luck

You so shifts, so you don't have a proper routine. Why do you think your little baby should?!

Personally, I think that you should go with the flow, and not worry too much about Gina Ford's 'routines.' Babys don't live like that, and neither do grown ups for that matter!

I'm sure he will settle back down. But if he picks up that you are stressed, he is less likely to settle.

I know it can be frustrating, believe me I do! Perhaps you should sleep in a separate room when he's crying, so you don't get disturbed!

Good luck!
You are so lucky! You just happened to have posted this question and it has been spotted my me - only the best person at sorting baby (and M %26amp; D sleep) issues.

First - baby might not be tired. Baby might be stimulated and wide awake. So - get the idea of baby sleeping out of your mind - it's not going to happen for an hours or so.

Also - are you in a pattern and routine yourselves. Do you follow the same times. This is difficult to do - if u have - well done - but its not easy.

Next - even when you do establish a routine - baby suddenly changes. This is part of development. You're probably starting to think this is impossible. Not impossible - but you have to be prepared to ';adjust'; your plans and life from time to time. (It's fun, tiring but fun - thats how you've got to look at it)

Best advice is - just accept it . If he is wide awake then forget sleep - talk to him, play with him. ( you just have to go to work tired).

When you think he is not quite so awake, not so bright, walk him round in your arms, his head looking over your shoulder - and walk all around the house slowly rocking AND most importantly - humming - yes gently humming - repetitive humming . Walk around so he can see different things - rocking gently - in a very reassuring way. (this is such a close experience) Patting gently on his back is good as well. But keep rocking - and keep humming - no sudden noises. One of you can go to sleep while this is going on. This is best - then you can get some some serious droning humming in. Tomorrow night swap over. You'll get your sleep over the course of a week. You can do it. I've just been reading all about Ellen MacArther round the world solo yacht journey - she had to try and sleep at night and keep getting up to change the sails 10-20 times thro the night every time the wind changed. If she didn't the boat would likely tip over. Good luck.
wake him up early in the mornings, don't let him sleep for a long time in the day, and tire him out during the day with lots of fun!
put the vacuum cleaner on, the dull noise mght bore him to sleep

good luck

maybe he needs some solid food to fill him up more. Baby porridge or rice with his last bottle should make him tired. My daughter was the same, I just had to give her more sustenance rather than volume!
I used to put my babies in their infant car seats and swing them between my legs.....they always fell asleep when i did that.

Should i buy a $3,000,000 it has 5 baths and 8 beds i haves t 2 twins me and my husband what do u think?

it is 3 stories 2 pools hot tubShould i buy a $3,000,000 it has 5 baths and 8 beds i haves t 2 twins me and my husband what do u think?
I think it sounds perfect. Oh, and did i mention we were best friends in second grade... right? jks!Should i buy a $3,000,000 it has 5 baths and 8 beds i haves t 2 twins me and my husband what do u think?
Personally I wouldn't, but then again I have no where near enough money. Have you thought about maybe buying a smaller house with a lot of land? You might appreciate it more later and you could always build an addition to the house later if you feel you need more room. But I don't know you or your family so I can only tell you what I would do for myself.
sure,,why not!!...if u can afford it buy it!!but be sure you'll hire more than 20 housekeepers there!!lol!!....but that's a lot of money!! i bet u have more than a billiom dollars!!ya ryt!
There is no better investment than real estate. If you can afford the place and ya like the location, buy it. It sounds awesome,.
Sure, but make sure you get a good house maid.
I just hope the pools aren't as shallow as you...
no offense but i get the feelig ur making this stuff up
well if you can afford it, why not? and property is a good investment too.
$ 3,000,000.00 to me is ALOT of money. Maybe to some, it is ';chump change';. If it is ';chump change'; then ';go for it';! But if you are a middle class family, hold off and put that money into college funds for your children!
dude! that's alot just for four of u. get some nice house like normal but nice. and the rest of the money buy u and ur family something or may be furnitures for ur house. ya!!
So you have about $150 billion more in the bank than the net worth of Bill Gates? Wow, that's really impressive. I guess we must have heard of you or something. And earlier you claimed to weigh 98 pounds yet you've just given birth...obviously, that's not possible. You seriously need to can it with the ridiculous lies.
If you want you should, but that is alot of house to take care of and also taking care of newborn twins and your husband.

best of luck with your decision and you twins
I think that is a lot of house for 4 people, especially if I read that right, and the girls are only 5 days old. Pools and hot tubs are extremal dangerous for little ones.

But I also think that this is a decision best left to you and your husband. I don't think you should be taking ';should I buy this'; advice from a bunch of strangers who aren't going to be living with you, nor do they contribute to your finances.
Sure ... go ahead !
If you can afford it than go ahead and buy it
yeah i bet u have 2 billion dollar.
If I were you I wouldn't. I would buy a house that is suitable for a 4 person family (maybe a 2 bath and 3-4 bedroom house depending on how much space you want) and then save the rest of the money for raising your two daughters, perhaps for a college education. But that does depend on what kind of house you're living in right now and if you want an upgrade or what. But like I said, I wouldn't.

Dog has fleas have bathed him, put spot on on him, washed his bedding and sprayed house.thought they were away

have done everything that i can think of. bathed him again today. can anyone say how long it takes before he'll be flea free. hoovered house everyday for past week.Dog has fleas have bathed him, put spot on on him, washed his bedding and sprayed house.thought they were away
Take him to the vet and ask what kind of flee medicine they can give him. Sometime it can take weeks, sometimes just days.Dog has fleas have bathed him, put spot on on him, washed his bedding and sprayed house.thought they were away
If you applied a product like Frontline, you should not apply it within 2 days of a bath. For example, if you gave your dog a bath on Wednesday, you should not apply the Frontline until at least Friday, or even Saturday. Likewise, if you apply Frontline on a Wednesday, you should not give your dog a bath until Friday or Saturday. These products work by distributing themselves through the glands in the skin and if the dog has just had a bath, a lot of the skin's natural oils are stripped, which does not allow the product to work as well as it normally does. Also, if you are using an over-the-counter flea product, it most likely will not work. I have never seen a flea product that you can buy in a pet store that actually works. The most effective products will be from your veterinarian. I would get some Frontline from your vet, apply it to your dog, and then do a house treatment with a product from your veterinarian. We carry a spray called Knockout, which is very effective, but if your vet does not have that, he or she will probably have something similar. Wash all bedding, etc and vacuum well- especially under couch cushions and by your baseboards, etc. Also, you should throw your vacuum bag out when you are finished with it. Fleas can actually crawl back out of the bag when you are finished vacuuming. I would wrap the vacuum bag in a trash bag and then discard it outdoors.
A couple of years ago we had fleas really bad. I bought Frontline Plus, first and applied it to all my animals (2 dogs and 3 cats). Then a day later I got ';flea bombs';, and bombed the house. Follow the instructions carefully. You have to remove all living animals from the house for a couple of hours. Then you have to go back in and open all your windows for at least 30 minutes. Then it is safe to bring in the pets. Vaccuum EVERYTHING thoroughly. Wash all bedding. Fleas lay eggs along carpet edge, under the rim of your furniture. I vaccuumed daily for two weeks everything I could possibly think of. Wash everything you can. Be persistent and diligent. It's a pain in the butt, but better than the alternative. We had them so bad, they were getting on us, and would be on our scalp. So I was determined to get rid of them. This was the first time we have ever had fleas, and hopefully the last. Good luck to you. The sooner you do all this, the better your chances of killing the larvae. They can live up to a year in dormant stage before hatching, so time is of the essense!!
One word answer... Advantage.

Ok, more than one word explanation :o)

Spot on is ok, but will not take care of an infestation in your house. Advantage will, in about a week. You don't have to go through all of the washing, spraying, bathing stuff. Just buy a tube of Advantage, put it on, wait a week, and no fleas in the house or on your pet.

Frontline is fine... but will not get rid of the fleas in the house

No department store brand will fix the problem.
how about ur yard?????
i would bring him to a groomer and while he is at the groomers you need to bomb your house. the fleas will die but the eggs on the dog wont. so you should buy adams spray after you get it bombed and spray... there also pills you can give to the dog after you bathed him so you dont worrie about frontline or advatage, but once you get the fleas undercontrol you should make sure he has some flea meds. talk to your groomer and im sure they will be happy enough to help you out. good luck!
Consider yourself fighting a war on fleas. Cuz it is.

Go to your vet and get a pill called Capstar. It will kill all of the fleas on your dog in a matter of minutes and works al day. You can give him one pill a day if needed.

My dog is on Revolution as his once a month treatment. He had a really bad reaction to Frontline. NEVER use a treatment from a store. They arent safe for your pet.

Get a carpet powder and furniture spray from a store and vacuum your house everyday. Wash EVERYTHING your dog has touched, including your bedding.

Good luck!
Which spot-on did you use? There are many different kinds, and they're all different chemicals! If it was one from a pet store, don't expect it to work. Pet stores aren't licensed to sell the proper stuff for flea treatment, their stuff is rubbish.

If you bathed the dog before applying ANY spot-on, the spot-on cannot work because you will have washed off the natural oils of the dog's skin, and spot-ons require these to work.

The same goes for the house spray, if it was from a pet store don't expect it to work. I would get a proper treatment like Frontline or Revolution for your dog, if you haven't already - don't bath the dog within 48 hours before or after applying it!

Proper spot-ons that you get in a vets will kill all fleas on your dog within 24 hours, and continue to work for at least a month - two months in the case of Frontline.

Chalice
Have you thought about getting him professionally groomed? There may be areas that you are missied such as the ears and in the no so easy to get to areas.

If you bring your pup to the groomer, please be sure to tell them that it has fleas and what you have done so far to help alleviate the situation. Then, while the pup is not home, clean like you have never cleaned before - and any wash should be done in HOT water and soaked.
Have u tried dawn kitchen soap, Its suppose to work miracles with fleas. Google it.
you also need to treat your carpet with the carpet fresh found in most pet stores.....treat all furniture and bedding...also treat your yard more than likely that is where he got them in the first place..should be about a week
what you should is take him/her to the vet and see what they require or you Can go to the pet store and ask them what they think is best for fleas.

Is 3 beds and 3 baths on the same floor a little too much?

Right now, we have 3 beds and 2 baths on the second floor. (one master bed/bath) and my teen daughter wants another bath connected to her room. The hall bath only has room for one sink and my grand parents (2 of them) will probably end up sharing the same bath with her. Shes one of those teens that has a long routine every morning and is always intruded on by people needing something from the bathroom when taking a shower, etc... Its not a money or space problem, I just thought maybe 3 beds and 3 baths would be overdoing it and ridiculousIs 3 beds and 3 baths on the same floor a little too much?
ive been doing remodeling for 30 years and ive seen homes with a full bath off of each bedroom , just like a master ,so why not ? why should the master bedroom be the only '; non shared '; bath ?

i wouldnt put in bidets and jacuzzis but something nice would only ad to the value and comfort of your home ,,,,,,,,,good luck and enjoy it while you have it ~!Is 3 beds and 3 baths on the same floor a little too much?
Yes, why is the world would you need a bathroom for each bedroom - full of people? Even if she does have a long routine, wouldn't having her own bathroom when there's one in the hallway that is only used by guests be ridiculous? Not to mention it would go unused when your grandparents aren't visiting, which would be a kind of waste. In my family, there are five of us and two bathrooms in the whole house. We share one bathtub and never found the need for any more bathrooms, even when my Grandma visits once a year for a few months. I just think its unnecessary.
If there are that many people living in the same home I think that it is not excessive at all.

  • What age shoud i stop bathing with my kids an put them to bed and litting do it them self?

Always put them to bed and tell them you love them.

Probably shouldn't be bathing ';with'; your kids. If they require bathing, this is business, treat it as such. What age shoud i stop bathing with my kids an put them to bed and litting do it them self?
when they start to notice body parts and asking questions ussually 2 or 3.What age shoud i stop bathing with my kids an put them to bed and litting do it them self?
First we all need to know...

1: From what planet are you from?

2: What species do you belong to?
depends on how independent your children are. Some situations are different. Sometimes the children need to be older

My bunny is is always having bedding stick to under its tail and i cant give it a bath everday what do i do!?

I got my bunny on Friday and whenever he goes to the bathroom bedding gets stuck to him i thought rabbits pooped pellets!!My bunny is is always having bedding stick to under its tail and i cant give it a bath everday what do i do!?
They do poop pellets. Your bunny may have diarrhea from a change in diet. Are you giving him the food that he was eating before you got him? If you give him a lot of fresh food like carrots or lettuce and he's not used to that then it will give him diarrhea. Try giving him just the regular food that you probably bought from the store (usually in small pellet form) and see if it clears up. If that helps then after a few days without diarrhea you can start giving him a tiny bit of fresh food. You can slowly build up but just don't give him a ton of it. If the diarrhea doesn't clear up then you should probably bring him to the vet. In the meantime, make sure you do keep him clean back there. My bunny is is always having bedding stick to under its tail and i cant give it a bath everday what do i do!?
maybe he has something wrong like you are not giving hiim enough solids or maybe he just pees a lot. just leave it its probably not bothering your bunny that much otherwise he would be finding ways of getting it off himself.

    please answer my question

Why my hubby takes long baths and is a one niter in bed

I want to know why my hubby takes long long baths and I would also like to know why he is a one niter in bed that mean making love only one time a week. Why my hubby takes long baths and is a one niter in bed
JOey thinks you think he's like having fantasy times in the bathtub might be true mihgt not but lemme tell you my ol lady only give m e one night a w3eek and I could use more like six so maybe we should get together or something.

OH well never happen in real life. No way people on yahoo fix this one for you he could be gay he could be havin more fun imaging exactly what he want.

Maybe you should take a bath with him and offer him a little sugar.

That doesnt pan out then theres guys that take baths like a temple orf somthing not sex just a way to relax and be alone.

But you feel neglected or it wouldn't bug you only way to get through that is to ask and maybe get a counselor or something. Some guys are gay and don't know it or don't say it and don't live it. Too many possibiliites here.

Joey knows. Why my hubby takes long baths and is a one niter in bed
There is nothing wrong with taking a bath. Even if your a man.

Maybe he's a one nighter because in the bath he takes care of himself.

I don't know why your husband only wants to have sex with you 1 night a week? Maybe you should talk to him about the intimate details of your marriage.

And for the fact that we have no idea who he is or what you look like.
I normally shower, but when I take a bath I relax for a while, it good to sit and relax and enjoy the warm of the water. good for the mind and body. As for sex being once a week, not sure, maybe he has a low sex drive, if You want it more, try sexy little things to catch his eye,

How old is your husband? As men get older they tend to lose their drive. And this may sound shocking but in a health class the professor said that married couples have sex about 4 times a month. Try talking to him and changing your routine to spice things up. You guys are just stuck in a rut.
i just don't even know where to begin with this one...

    yes i do -

Let's put it this way, those baths aren't long for nothing! Now I'm a gentleman so I will let that one marinate for a little bit.

    Yikes!
    Could be stressed?

    Could need time to think?

Maybe you both should discuss this!

Next time join him in the bath or give him a sponge bath. Put on some lingerie, and tie him to the bed, lol.

    Best of luck!
OKAY and why arent you getting in the baths with him?Add some spice to your life.IF not be there to dry him off and lotion him down.
Baths are relaxing and he could be wore our from the demands of the week.
Maybe you should ask him. I am not sure you are going to get the answer you are looking for on this one.
First jump in that bath with him honey, then he will be more than a once a week lover...
Maybe you should be asking him.
    ???????
why are you asking US ??? we don't know you (and could really care less...) you might try acting like an adult and asking HIM.
He's just not that into you.
does he have another women in the tub with him...better check those windows when he is in there!! lol
maybe you just dont do it for him
his age????? gay???? depressed?? low sex drive??? meds hes on????? stress???? etc. too hard to say -- ask him!!!!!!!!!!!

I am looking towards buying a coop. Two beds and two baths.?

I am looking forwards buying a coop. Is my girlfriend who happens to be the mother of my child allowed to live in the coop which has two beds and two baths. Am I allowed to have one roommate living in the coop and my girlfriend, my child and I stay in the other room?I am looking towards buying a coop. Two beds and two baths.?
Listen Eric, the first thing you need to do is ask for a copy of the rule book for the coop. I think that you shouldn't even think of a roommate with your girl friend, child and your self.

The three of you should be able to come home at night and enjoy each others company as a family. And,with having the whole use of the coop it would be more homey. Now, is the time for you to get to now each other in your own little private house. Good Luck!I am looking towards buying a coop. Two beds and two baths.?
Only the co-op board knows for sure; ask them.

Hi Suzette, I think I want you because you thought of the question.
I'd have to go with female. It would be awkward either way.
If I were that sick I probably wouldn't care.
Been there, done that, on several occasions. They frequently assigned a young nurse's aide, and I never complained...

    You, babe.
If I was that sick, I would not care.
you just described my husband when he is sick and I am the only one who can do it and not get mad at him or just leave him to die ( he gets this way when he even gets the sniffles )

    LOL
I have been, and I always liked the female, YOUNG, PRETTY nurses... of course!
If it's some hot young chick or some girl I know it would suck. If it was some handsy perverted dude that was going to stick his fingers in my crack while I was too sick to do anything, I would take the woman.
    Patricia!!
    Haha.

I would rather have someone in my family help me.

    Reasons:

    1. I can trust my family.

    2. I know my family isn't 'weird'.

    3. I wouldn't want some cute nurse to get turned on by my Dune worm.
my hubby helped me after my surgeries...and i helped my hubby when he broke his leg....
do you really have to ask?
That busty blonde nurse I had once in the short white dress...lol

What kind of Utilities and such will you have is you rented a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with 1100 sq ft?

How much will they cost a month. What kind of Utilities and such will you have is you rented a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with 1100 sq ft?
Well there's rent of course lights, gas, cable, phone if you decide you need 1. And of course food those will be the big expenses. What kind of Utilities and such will you have is you rented a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with 1100 sq ft?
Nobody on here can answer this for you. The rates are different from city to city. And just the sq ft does not help either. Weather or not it is insulated properly would make a huge difference.

The only thing you can do is to check with the utility provider and they will be able to tell you an average for that property.
It really depends on where you live and if any utilities are included in rent.

  • What to paint master bedroom and bath? I have leopard carpet in Bedrm, cherry furn in bed & cherry cabinets?

I was thinking of some neutral beige in the bedroom with black and gold accents? I want the bathroom to coordinate but possibly paint it a different color? HELPWhat to paint master bedroom and bath? I have leopard carpet in Bedrm, cherry furn in bed %26amp; cherry cabinets?
Use the neutral beige for the bathroom or maybe a peach color which makes your complexion look good. Any way a bathroom is small and you can add color with pictures, towels, rug etc.

I have leopard print in my bedroom and did the walls in a gold color. It looks really good with the cherry furniture I have.

Go here and play around with colors. Think about a bold color for the headboard wall and a coordinating color for the other walls.

Little brown worms in my bath and bed room?

ok there are these weird little worms and they were all in my room and bathroom last summer and now they're here again it's so gross! there's like a bunch that just seem to come out of nowhere and they're really small like 1/2 a cm, the adults(i think) cuz there are smaller ones. they kinda look like caterpillers cuz they look fuzzy but they're really skinny too. i'm like really scared of them cuz i think they might be poisoness but my mom doesn't think so since we live in northern NY but i don't like them cuz i've stepped on them barefoot and it feels like they bite or something it hurts! uummm...let's see oh they move really weird like they kind of stand up and oh my gosh they are fast! it's the worse in my room and i think that's because i have a very dirty room but i'm scared to like clean it and find a freakin nest of them i have insectophobia and if i see a bug i run and i just get really uncomfortable and im like constantly looking around for them and i only feel safe in my livingroom i know i'm really weird but i just ugh i don't like it! and if anyone knows what these little things are please tell me and please tell me how to get rid of them!Little brown worms in my bath and bed room?
Get some insecticide at the local store, ask someone in the store for assistance. Then clean up! If you keep the place dirty, you'll have more bugs... if you're really too scared, ask your mother for help or ask if you can hire a cleaning company if you pay for it (or pay for part of it). Once it's cleaned up keep it up, I'm not a clean freak at all myself -in fact I think a little dirt is good for our immune system- but I'm not afraid of bugs either. I know there are spiders and sometimes roly-poly's in the corners of the room (and sometimes moving around) but that doesn't bother me. If it did, I'd clean more often!Little brown worms in my bath and bed room?
Borax powder can get rid of them.

Try sweeping them up. If they are not soft.

My son and his 10yo friend have a bath and sleep in the same bed together naked?

My son and his 10yo friend have a bath and sleep in the same bed together naked and they where each others breifs round the house is this okMy son and his 10yo friend have a bath and sleep in the same bed together naked?
My brother is 10 and he 'knows what everything means' lol, it really depends on how mature they are for their age.... it may be a phase... it may not

most 10 year olds i know are quite mature so I cant really sayMy son and his 10yo friend have a bath and sleep in the same bed together naked?
Well, it is not normal for them to sleep together naked and take baths together naked at 10 years old. Also, wearing the same underwear can lead to infections in the private area. I suggest you let them wear their own underwear and make them sleep with their clothes on and take separate baths. Tell them two boys should not sleep in the same bed naked and take baths together naked because it could lead to the impression that they are gay and that they are too old for that.
I wouldn't allow it. At the age of about 9 they are learning lots and lots if stuff at school, and becoming curious about the same and opposite sex. It's probably not a good idea to allow this. I don't think that there is a problem with them being in their boxers or whatever around eachother. I would just explain to them that they are getting a little too old for that and that they can sleep in the same room, just not together under the same blankets, and that they need to take baths by themselves.

And no it doesn't mean that he's ';gay'; that is being immature about the situation. It's just a curious age and I wouldn't encourage what they are doing.
if i remember correctly, by the time i was 10 (5th grade), there were boy and girl dances and we certainly had at least some understanding and awareness of our bodies. just that alone suggests that this is not an appropriate activity for the boys to be participating in. no reason for them to take joint baths or sleep in the same bed (unless it is a larger bed). this has much less to do with homosexuality concerns, and more to do with teaching them what is, and is not, appropriate behavior with others. as someone else noted, they are not toddlers. you would be well-advised to get this situation under control and set some boundaries.
I have a ten year old son too, who also has a friend come and sleep over almost every weekend and longe around in their briefs. However, they do not take a bath together, nor do they sleep in the same bed naked together. This would never happen in my house.

They are NOT toddlers anymore, and to me, this kind of behaviour would be totally unacceptable! Why is their any question whether this is acceptable or not?! What I am saying is, NO this is not ok!
This could possibly be a stage that they are undergoing or they could just be really good friends. At 10, this can't be too good though. You may want to make them go in their bathing suits in the bath, and sleep in pajamas in the bed together but make sure that you be careful and not make it seem like being gay is alright.
Does the friends parents know that this goes on in your home? If I was them I would for sure never let my son come back to your house. They are way to old for bathing together and sleeping naked together. Kids mature fast nowadays and I am sure they have an idea about their bodies. There is nothing ok about what is going on.
first off if you dont like it why would you let him. i think this depends on their maturity level. i mean thats a close call. bath i can see but sleeping together naked is kind of a cause for concern. i wouldnt even let my 4 year old sleep naked with another 4 year old. i wouldnt make a big deal about just ask him to put on his pj's next time. or sit down and explain your rules. dont make him feel weird for it though. i wouldnt worry about them wearing eachothers underpants. and being gay is all right
This is not acceptable for ten year olds. If they were three okay. You'd better be careful who you broadcast this to... someone will call child services on you, as well they should. If you are the parent of a ten year old you should know better than this.
if they were 2 or 3 it would be harmless...10? ARE YOU CRAZY! the fact that you had to ASK says you know its not right! where is the other childs MOTHER!!!!!!!! you better not let your local CPS get a wind of that!
they are kids they dont really now any better i did that a bit but its cuz i saw alot of tv..lol..wierd! anyways just talk to them and tell them they arent supposed to do it. its normal i think for there age. they are just exploring stuff ya know.
OK i realy think this is realy werid. Talk to your son i mean wareing each others breifs is ok but going to bed naked thats wrong. i would alk to him about and y he does it. i kinda had that but i was like 7 or 8.
    OMG THATS SICK!

And yes they do know better im 11 and hell no i dont take baths with my friend... You need to hav them see a docter about this... and YEAH im a kid my opinions are just as good as yours! (if not better)
Although it is probably perfectly harmless, I do think that at ten years old they should be encouraged to wear clothes in each other's presence.
They might be a bit old for that, but there's nothing wrong with it really. So long as you're comfortable and they're comfortable, you're fine.
    Yeah Right.

If you don't think this is weird and wrong, you're either a terrible parent or some j@ckoff goofing on the parenting site. Idiot.
it is perfectly normal and acceptable!
yerv i mean like i had a shower with my friend wen i was little , it might sound pervey , but nothing happened . sleepin naked ??? ermm well yer i guess hes only 10 , their just having fun
Yet another weido gets his kicks at the expense of some people who will not see the truth here.
10???That is too old to be doing all that naked. Gosh, dress your kids properly.
No, they should wear PJ's when they sleep and pants when they are playing.
10 year old boys don't know that difference, i am sure that its fine.
since when do ten year olds take baths?

and yeah, thats kinda really weird.
    Gross! You should totally make them STOP! I'm mean litteraly that's just GROSS! :{
i think so ,but not for alot longer.

why do they sleep naked anyway ,cant you buy pyjamas?
I think I'd nip that one in the bud. They seem a little old for that!
    Doesn't sound good to me!!!!
    Gross, where is your parenting?
I think they are too old for that, but again that's just my opinion
    And you allow this?
    no.

  • Why should you not have a shower or a bath and then go straight to bed?

what is the problem having a shower or bath then going straight to bed? does it makw you sweat in your sleep? is it a problem? Why should you not have a shower or a bath and then go straight to bed?
There's no problem in taking a bath or shower before bedtime and no evidence to suggest that it causes sweating. You should make sure your hair is dry for your own comfort but actually a bath or shower before bed will relax you, help you sleep better and may stop you from sweating at night. Here's why. When you sleep your body temperature drops. Taking a shower or bath temporarily raises your temperature and to compensate your body regulates itself and cools you down, dropping your temperature and readying you for sleep. Why should you not have a shower or a bath and then go straight to bed?
I didn't know there was a problem with it. I like to shower before bed, and I sleep a lot better and wake up refreshed. I stand corrected if I've missed some important info if there's a good reason why you shouldn't.

Do you think a 4,000 sq. ft. home w/5 bed. and 4 bath, is too big for a family of 4?

Just wondering, cause that's how big the house is that we're having built.Do you think a 4,000 sq. ft. home w/5 bed. and 4 bath, is too big for a family of 4?
Hey if you could afford it, do it! Who knows maybe you will have another child.Do you think a 4,000 sq. ft. home w/5 bed. and 4 bath, is too big for a family of 4?
i think it would be great for your family because you would even have a ex tra bed room so you can have a workout room or a game room.
And you get to clean it! That is when you will find out if it is too big.
Not if you can afford it.
If you can afford it then no! Because when the kids grow up they will want space from the rest of the family and you will be able to give it to them. You also have a spare room for the ';up and coming'; suprised that you are sure to have! Just in case the ';mother-in-law'; comes to stay with you for a while!
It does seem on the large side. In addition to costing more upfront (i.e., higher mortgage payment), taxes, insurance, heating, cooling, cleaning and maintenance expense will all be higher. In the end, it depends on whether you can afford it and whether you have the time to take care of it and enjoy it.
Probably too many bathrooms, but the bedrooms are okay. Just think with five bedrooms you could add to your family with no problem, or if not you could make a game room and an exercise room from the spares. Or whatever, as long as you can think of something to do with the extra rooms you'll be alright
not too big for mine... :) if you don't want it, just let me know where it is and I take it.
Depends how much you are paying for the property. If its not too bad get it and ride the equity train all the way to retirement.

I live in a 3000 square ft. home up from a 1000 foot condo. trust me you will always fill up the space.

If you have lots of kids look at the amount of bathrooms and the size of the yard.
Yes. My reasoning? There's so much waste. It's just not needed. While a family of 4 is living in their 4000 sq foot home there are other families who are stacked in mobile homes. Two and more children need to share a bedroom that is smaller than most closets. The one place my family lived before buying our modest but nice home had bedrooms so small that we had to have special beds made for our kids so that they could both fit in the room and share it. I do not begrudge your wealth. I am happy that you are doing well. But why spend so much extra money when it's not needed? Why not build a home that is more appropriate for the size family you have while still being comfortable and donate the left over money you would have spent to those less fortunate? In my own opinion people only build those large, amazing homes in order to show off and flaunt their status. I'm not saying people should denounce all luxury and take a vow of poverty but if we would all live sensibly there would be so much left for the people who would otherwise not be able to afford it. But...I don't feel we should give handouts to people who make no effort to improve their life. You can only help someone if they are first willing to help themselves. Best of luck to you.
Not at all, if you can afford it why not.
but can you afford the Heat %26amp; Air
just right...gives you and hubby a place to hide from the kidies
    Yes.
What would you do with 5 beds if you are a family of 4? I have a family 4 and all we need is 3 bedrooms,! for the parents, 1 for 1 kid, and 1 for the other kid. But if you can afford it and are already having it built, there isn't much you can do now.
It IS big indeed. But there's nothing wrong with big houses, or? Especially for 4 people.
    Yeah,that will be comfy.
    nooooooooooooo its perfect!!!!!
As long as you don't mind cleaning the whole house.
4baths is a lot. You could certainly do with less. I grew up in a house of 2 beds and one bath and we were a family of 4.
Yes, this is too big, unless you entertain a great deal or are expecting relatives to move in with you (mother-in-law suite, etc.).

This is an example of wretched excess, and is detrimental to family solidarity (it's far too easy for you all to avoid each other).

But then, maybe your aim is to raise disfunctional children. If so, you are headed in the right direction.

    Cheers.
Well if you can afford taht then I guess you wont be the one cleaning it so does it really matter? braggart
Not if you want to have your privacy. And **** if you can afford it why not build it.
No its huge, good luck cleaning it.
It's large but not completely ridiculous. probably will make the kids happy when they are older teens.

Larger than I would want but like I said not TOO much par say.
Nope - does your husband mind? Why do you ask?
    No, mine is 5000.

But, the largrer you go, the less you may see of your children because they can be by themselves. That is the only thing that I do not like.
I think it's perfect for a family of 4! You will all have your own room plus you can have an exercise room and a computer room wow, only drawback, but then you may love to clean, is that someone's gotta clean that house...But, it's perfect!
No. And, you obiously don't either or you would not be spending the money to have it built.. However, if the house is in a bad neighborhood.. I would say, ';Yes.'; and you are wasting your money.
you know you will get both yes and no answers. some may think that you are bragging and some may think you are lieing. but when it comes down to it, it is how you and your spouse or family feel about it. its gotta be alot better than a tiny little house i would think eh? the more room you got the more family members will want to come stay with you. that sucks.
No...you can never have enough bathrooms...but who has to clean the house?

What would a 1994 schult modular home 28 by 44, 3 bed and 2 bath be worth approx...answer that PLEASE??

Call a Realtor and have them do a CMA for you--it's free. It will depend if your Modular is on Piers, on a foundation, on a rented lot or you own the land under the modular or does it need moved? Lot's of factors go into it.

it depends on what kind of shape it was in and where it was.

How much does Bed, Bath & Beyond pay their cashiers and sales associates?

the cashiers get paid the same the nation over with 5-20% adjustment for cost of living. The pegs the rate around $7-$10 an hour. sales associates likely make more if they're on commission. less if they are glorified cashiers.

Getting a cashier job is a good way to prove sticking power and leads to customer service skills.

We are asking $18,000.00, and I feel it is a good price for this area, but I need it to sell fast! What is a good price for a 1 1/2 Story Home with Central Heat and window air and 3 Beds and 1 Bath?
Here where I live, a house that description would easily sell for 10 times that amount. The only thing you could buy for $18,000 here would be an older model mobile home.

  • How much would it cost to put a bed room, small kitchen, bath room and living room in a garage?

The garage is already built but i was wondering how much i would cost to build a bathroom with shower or tub, a bed room and a living room, and a little kitchen. The garage already has electric in it but it would need dry wall and some sort of flooring plus plumbing. I dont know how my sq. feet it is.How much would it cost to put a bed room, small kitchen, bath room and living room in a garage?
This is a hard question to answer as costs very depending on what part of the country you live in the building codes etc. Also how much work are you planning on doing your self and h

ow much you want to contract out and the materials you want to use!

You can often get great deals on counters, cabinets, sinks tubs showers toilets and sinks at a building recyclers I would call a professional to do the plumbing and electrical though.

You can go to home depot .com and make a list of all the materials you will need they will add up the costs and tell you if the products are available locally or if you need to order on line they will deliver them to you! Try Lumber liquidator for flooring as Cork flooring is available for 1.23 a sq foot through them, also radiant floor heating is energy efficient and a perfect application for you

How much should it cost to wire and plumb a new 5 bed 3 bath home?

I am trying to gauge about how much it should cost to wire and plumb a new 5 bedroom 3 bath home. I am currently in the planning stages. The home would be located outside of the Berryville, AR city limits. Any help would be appreciated. How much should it cost to wire and plumb a new 5 bed 3 bath home?
Call a few local plumbers. There really is no way to give you a reasonably accurate estimate without seeing the plan. There are WAY too many variables in this equation, such as the size of the house, the elevation of the sewer lateral, square footage, fixtures, local labor rate, etc. Make some phone calls, and have copies of the plan available to drop off. Hope this helps.

Do I need to take my own bath towel and bed sheets to India when I stay with a family in rural India?

Depends on what you're going for and which part of rural india you're going to.Unless its a semi urban - urban area, washing machines or laundry facilities will be limited and only for personal use..Rural areas do have people (dhobi)who will wash and clean for a fee which is quite nominal by western standards. You would have to bring quite sturdy material,as they can be quite rough in washing stuff. I would highly recommend your own bath towel.Bed sheets ,I cant say unless i know where you are going.take a couple of lighweight cotton bedsheets if you are headed to proper rural india.Do I need to take my own bath towel and bed sheets to India when I stay with a family in rural India?
it is better for hygiene purpose.however any indian family will be glad to offer the best facility out of the things available with themDo I need to take my own bath towel and bed sheets to India when I stay with a family in rural India?
What would you do if you were staying with a family anywhere else in the world?

It also depends on what kind of family you are staying with.

A middle class family in India live very comfortably and will most probably have everything there for you. You will not have to worry about things like that.

But just in case, take something with you. It is not much to carry.
It would be advisable, so as not to get into an embarasing situation.
Friend, any body who is interested to visit another person's place with a plan to stay a couple of days have to carry all your personal as you have mentioned. This applys not only to India but also to any part of the world! On hygine point of view, you may keep all your above mentioned things including a air pillow/bed. After using before leaving India you may give them to some one as a gift of your rememberance! Your purpose is also served and your name will be there, where you had stayed.

It will not cost more than US$ 50 for all per person.
lol.........u can take bath towel and bed sheets to India if u want to... just in case.........

Does anyone know of a link where I can print out a current Bed, Bath and Beyond coupon (or 5)???

    BB%26amp;B coupons never expire. I know a lot of them have expiration dates on the coupon, but they don't expire. And you can use as many coupons as the number of items you are purchasing. Sorry, I don't have a link but I thought it was important to point out they never expire because you mentioned ';current.';

How can I stop feeling guilty for losing my $50 bed bath and beyond gift card that I received this Christmas?

I am pretty sure by now that I must have thrown it away with all of the wrapping paper and boxes as I have searched everywhere I can think with no avail. The trash-man already came or I would actually resort to looking through the garbage. It is not like I am poor and without it I can't go on or anything. I just feel guilty that someone spent there money on me and I lost it. Also, I could be buying something nice for our home, but how can I just move on, as lame as it all sounds? How can I stop feeling guilty for losing my $50 bed bath and beyond gift card that I received this Christmas?
Well since you aren't lacking money you could just go spend $50 there and thank the person for the gift.

And don't feel bad. Do you know how many remotes I have accidentally thrown out and not realized until after the garbage truck left? And they are expensive to replace and the universal ones never have all the features. So I sure feel bad about that. It's just I have trash cans near all the end tables that the remotes sit on.

So it happens to all of us. Don't sweat it. I get frustrated that I've lost another remote from time to time but there's just nothing that can be done about it.How can I stop feeling guilty for losing my $50 bed bath and beyond gift card that I received this Christmas?
I am older and so many things have happen that you have let go and say '; this is life';. Take your own money with 20% off card and buy something on sale and thank your friend for the gift card. This will make you feel better. One way or another things I have had big amounts of money lost one way or another. When you dwell on this it is very stressful and not good for your health. You never know you might come upon your gift card when you least expect. But for now take the easy way out. Enjoy your life and don't take things so hard.
Maybe someone will find it and they can use it! If they are digging thru the trash they need it more that you do :D

What size of Megalife water heater would we need to supply 2 showers and one bath in a 3 bed bungalow?

I have been advised to get one of the Megalife Heatrae Sadia water heater and am unsure what size I'd need. I plan to use it to supply 2 showers as well as a bath and usual kitchen etc for a 3 bed bungalow. Can anyone advise what capacity/volume I would need. Also what is the difference between unvented and vented and direct and indirect? Lots of questions but will be glad of any input.

    Cheers

I must be feeling generous. You can find all of that information on their website: http://www.heatraesadia.com/hs/heatraes.鈥?/a>

However, with what you're describing, you need a minimum of 50gals. (sorry I don't have my calculater or conversion tables handy to do the math for you).

I-Joists or 2X12 lumber for an upstairs master bed/bath and what size beam for 6'X16' overhang?

Engineers welcome to answer these questions:)

Wondering if I should use I-Joists or 2X12's for an upstairs floor and how far apart? Most of the 2nd floor will be a master bed and bath. There is room left for something I haven't figured out yet maybe a little office or just open space for whatever.

The 2nd floor is 26X31. I want the floor to be super solid, no bounce if I can get away with it. I would like it strong enough for a king water bed, it's furniture if I decide and up to 10 people at anytime. The bathroom will have tile in the walk-in shower, a corner tub and a heavy counter-top.

MORE DETAIL: The first floor plans started as 20X24 with a 6X8 bathroom sticking out on one side. Now I have added 7 feet to the length for an interior staircase and storage which makes total length now 31' and the bathroom/storage length now 15'. From the bathroom to the house there will be a 6' overhang spanning 16'. I will need some kind of a beam for this span as well that supports the upper floor.

Thanks for all your help in advance.I-Joists or 2X12 lumber for an upstairs master bed/bath and what size beam for 6'X16' overhang?
Since I-Joists are engineered or manufactured which ever way you like it said, if you take your dimensions to the manufacturer they will make your joist exactly to suit whatever purpose you need, I-Joist hands down for your special need.I-Joists or 2X12 lumber for an upstairs master bed/bath and what size beam for 6'X16' overhang?
I can't picture your plan from your description. I can tell you that 2x12 joists can span 18ft at 16';oc. I joists can span farther and do give a stiffer floor.

Do they still sell Sheer Cover at Bed Bath and Beyond?

I only want Sheer Cover but do not feel like getting scammed once again by ordering it online. I heard it was at Bed Bath and Beyond and also saw it on their website before. But of course now that I am ready to go buy it, its not online anymore that I can see atleast.

Do you know what stores sell it? I am positive atleast a couple carry it. I will only settle with Sheer Cover, nothing else works for me like Sheer Cover. HELP PLEASE! Really easy 10 points.Do they still sell Sheer Cover at Bed Bath and Beyond?
I love sheer cover. I also prefer to buy in the store to not get scammed out of my money again. They should still have it at bed bath and beyond. I went like a week ago and they still had it. It's 34.99. It has 3 foundations 1 concealer and 1 finishing powder.

(plus 1 brush). The containers are smaller.

And they should have it at linen n things also, but the linen store in my area just went out of Business, So I'm not sure. You could also look in the mall. Those stores that sell ';as seen on tv'; products. Do they still sell Sheer Cover at Bed Bath and Beyond?
I'm not sure if BBB still carry Sheer Cover. You should give the store a call and ask, this way you'll find out without wasting your gas.

Has Anyone here ever Wroked for Bed Bath and Beyond?

Hi all! I'm very curious to know your thoughts on Bed Bath and Beyond. How is the working environment? Stability? Labor work load? I've been in retail management for over 6 yrs and I'm looking for a change, and I would love to hear your thoughts on the company as a whole. My position there would be in management. Any perspective would be very helpful; whether it be from a sales associate, stock, visual ect. I'm all ears :) Thank you for taking the time to answer this.Has Anyone here ever Wroked for Bed Bath and Beyond?
None of these jobs are stable right now. Its a bad time for jobs like that. Especially if you are new, the first sign of trouble, you will get canned. I heard they are no worse than any other retailer, but really no better.Has Anyone here ever Wroked for Bed Bath and Beyond?
Yeah but I would not go to the 'beyond' section.

I got lost, and found myself floating on a cloud.
I worked there in the Beyond section selling Universal Remotes.... :P
I like to watch people that fall asleep on the beds at BBB.

    jk, but not really.

Woman selling candy to me in Bed Bath and Beyond? Isn't that just wrong?

I was in Bed Bath and Beyond a while back, and a woman stopped me and wanted me to buy a king-sized bag of M%26amp;Ms for a dollar. She was just wandering around with a box of them, like the kind people can get at Sam's Club or whatever.

Anyways, I asked her why and she said she was trying to help her daughter (who was nowhere in sight) raise money for the youth group at their church. I asked her what church, and she gave some generic name that I didn't recognize but there's lots of churches here so it could be real.

Anyways, I thought it was so strange- why would she be selling FOR her daughter? Where was her daughter? Why in BB%26amp;B? And why didn't the BB%26amp;B worker who was standing right by us say something to her? It was irritating.

Anyways, I've been thinking about these salesy things lately as you might have noticed, and I remembered this.

Doesn't this break some sort of rule? Would you ever do that, even if it WAS for a real charity?Woman selling candy to me in Bed Bath and Beyond? Isn't that just wrong?
    What I would think:

    ';Excuse me, but I am shopping at Bed, bath and beyond, not Candy for More Money Shop and where is your daughter and why isn't she doing it herself??? Please take your candy to eBay or somewhere else, What am i supposed to do here, tape a No Solicitations on my butt?';

What I would say: ';No......uh, thanks....';------backing away......Woman selling candy to me in Bed Bath and Beyond? Isn't that just wrong?
There is probably a store policy about soliciting- she should not have been asking customers to buy stuff from her. The store manager should have asked her to leave.

And, it is probably against mall policy, too. (if you were in a mall).

Sometimes, stores will allow charities to sell goods OUTSIDE the store as long as they don't bother customers.
Next time, if you don't feel it's legit, just say ';No, Thank you'; and walk away. If you feel it's wrong and want to do something about it then you can take it up to the store's manager.
Rule #1: Don't talk to strangers.

    Rule #2: Just say 'No'.

    which brings me to...

Rule #3: Don't eat candy from strangers; you don't know what could be in it!
You should have said no thank-you, because she was probably trying to get money for herself.

If you thought it was fake, just walk away, after saying no thankyou.
    My opinion--YES it is wrong.
It sure sounds like a scam to me.

I would have insisted to see the manager.
Yeah - it WAS a scam and you should STILL report it to the manager. Most places DO NOT allow other sorts of solicitation in their stores/businesses....otherwise customers will be turned off from going there....BBB is a major chain and NO exception. The sales clerk is at fault and should have told her it was disallowed. But she was probably some lazy *** punk herself so she stood there and did nothing, probably reading some trash novel.

The same thing happened to me when I was in Florida. Some kid allegedly from some church that was NOWHERE near where we were was trying to get us to make ';donations';......
That woman was not practicing legal selling... she should have had to get a license in order to sell in a place like that.

I think people can ask for donations for their product which doesn't need to be taxed. But selling stuff for fundraising is not as easy as it used to be.

My son went on a trip to Washington D.C. with his class and he had to raise hundreds of dollars. As his mother, I did all I could to help him out. Fundraising is more difficult all the time.
Most stores, including mine, have a ';no solicitation'; policy. When people solicit inside other business', whether it's for church or charity, it hurts their business pretty bad. It hurts their Average Transaction (AT), Units Per Transaction (UPT), and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

When customers come inside store premises, they are expected to buy something. It's ok if they come inside to look as well. However if someone comes in with no intention of purchasing anything, the store loses money. If a customer were to buy a piece of candy from the vendor, that dollar could have gone toward a purchase in the store, increasing store profit. Because it didn't, the store lost a sale.

Tell a sales associate or manager next time you see that sort of thing. I would have told the woman that she cannot sell in our store and if she wanted to sell her candy, she'd have to go outside.

    CANDY!
    exactly, just watch Click
    maybe
haha. i saw a video on youtube where a guy prank called bed, bath, %26amp; beyond and asked for the universal remote from click.
its a movie, and they just say beyond to make it sound interesting, or maybe they have things that wouldnt go into the bed or bath category, like kitchen stuff, so that would be beyond.
lol im going to go ask that question today
The BEYOND is the part thats not bed and bath.......get it? Ya know, two love birds, needing certain items! lol.

Atheists had me arrested at Bed Bath and Beyond! Conspiracy?

So I sat in the parking lot with a portable television barking at the football game! ?? ! It's good luck charm, and it's worked! We've won many games doing this!

    They called the cops? Sick!!!!

I can't go to the games anymore. Girls eating in front of me, driving me to sinful thoughts. Men looking at me with come here eyes, and jeans too tight. I wear good pants.

Last time I went to a football game, I ended up waking up cuddled next to a man I didn't even know! It's sick!!!!

We didn't have television in Panama! Nestor said we didn't need one! Liar!Atheists had me arrested at Bed Bath and Beyond! Conspiracy?
My goodness Colson you are just too sexy for Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

You should sample a vile temptress, sir. After that, football will be a distant memory.Atheists had me arrested at Bed Bath and Beyond! Conspiracy?
    It's your aftershave.
Sorry dude... I was the one who called the cops. There are just somethings that are beyond decency.

    You crossed the line.

    Hmm. Eat at home.
I think you may have a few problems on your hands.

    Peace:)
That was some pretty strong stuff you took...
Yes! At the games they have food like frankfurters, polish sausage, corn dogs, and drumsticks. It's sick!! I like your good pants.
To get to the other side.
    Oh sure, now you deny knowing me! When you woke up beside me after the game it wasn't like that at all, it was all ';Jack baby, give me some more sin so I can repent.';

    I'm hurt, Colson....

    *tears*
    Too much information
Well, well, Colson has turned into a little Bukowski with a religious fixation. No, it's more Burroughs.
nestor is the christmas donkey, he carried pregnant mother mary down to bethlahem to give birth to the savior!!!

    YAy for Nestor!

Sounds like the reincarnation of the Apostle John writing a new revelation
I come here for the comedy.

Thank you for trying to confuse my day but not managing.
hmmm, what is this, stream of consciousness?

Registry: Bed, Bath and Beyond or Macys?

Which would be better for registering? I would like to keep it at one store, so they only have to look over one registry for items. But, which one tends to have better items (in terms of quality) and a larger selection?

Has anyone used either of these stores? If so, what was your experience like? Any pros or cons?Registry: Bed, Bath and Beyond or Macys?
We did both. We liked both. Honestly, I think it is better to give choices to people and not put it all in one store.

I do like Macy's program a lot, though, especially the 5% reward thing.Registry: Bed, Bath and Beyond or Macys?
Bed Bath and Beyond has a great registry program, they're very friendly and really help you out with what you need to register for. But I would sincerely advise that you reconsider registering at one place. There are a few advantages to registering at multiple stores: there may be plates that you like at one store, and glasses that you like at another. You could also run into the problem of having relatives/guests from out of town and you just never know if they've got the one store you registered at.

Plus, if you register at multiple places, you'll have a wider variety of things you can register for. I'm willing to bet that there are things that Macy's has that Bed Bath and Beyond does, and vice versa. (There is no Macy's where I live in Nebraska).

But to answer your question, Bed Bath and Beyond has been a great place for my registry so far! And they have a lot of cool items to offer, and a nice variety.

    Good luck!
I prefer BB%26amp;B because I hate the way Macy's prices things. My sister had her registry with them and one of her items was a china set. The ';normal'; price was $600, but every other day it was on sale for $250 (which was the every day price at BB%26amp;B). I wouldn't want my guests to have to worry about price fluctuations. Plus, BB%26amp;B always sends out those great 20% coupons!
    BB%26amp;B!!

I've heard nightmares with issues @ macys.. say you get a gift you don't want, or too many , or wrong color etc.

@ BB%26amp;B... return it for cash! ... no questions. No receipt.

or exchange it! no questions. no reciept.

not what i've heard @ Macys.
I vote Macy's for quality, but make sure you register for items with a wide price point range so that everyone can afford to get you something off the registry.
I would choose Macys, just because there is much more selection there. Bed Bath and Beyond is a great place, but Macys has more things to choose from.
I have never heard anything bad about Bed Bath and Beyond. However in reading posts at the Knot boards, lots of people have had problems with Macy's. It may be fluke experiences though.
ahhh i LOVE bed, bath %26amp; beyond!!!!!!!
