What is a good bath time and bed time for 6 month old?

I am trying to get on a routine, what is a good time to start bath and then go to bed for 6 month old. What is your schedule? What is a good bath time and bed time for 6 month old?
with both my son and daughter... I had a routine set by 4 ms or so. And i didn't vary at all, and it worked wonders. If you already have a feeding schedule set, try this:

- Around 6:45pm give the baby a bath in a baby tub with some warm water and lavender baby wash for about 15 mins.(just enough for you to wash him/her and enough time for him/her to play a bit)

- Dry properly and rub some nightime lotion on your baby's skin (take this opportunity to give him/her a baby massage)

- Dress him/her comfortably (not too warm but not too cold) footy PJs and a onesie underneath are best

- Feed the baby his nightime bottle around 7:30pm

NO PLAYING, TICKLING, LOUD NOISES OR TALKING OR ACTIVITIES- YOU WANT HIM TO WIND DOWN ALOT.

-Around 8pm check the baby's diaper, and change it if necesary then go to your baby's sleeping area, and sit with him/her for awhile (do some reading to him/her or singing or just lite talking about how nice it is to have him/her around and how you hope for him/her to grow up and be an important person.

- when the baby start noding or dozing off, lightly place him/her in their bed and tell him/her your goodnights. But let him/her drift off to sleep on their own, don't let him/her completely fall asleep on you.

this is proven by me, and when i watched my neighbors son i did the same thing and he slept like a baby LOL. also my cousin's baby gets really restless at night and i told her exactly the same and we got her daughter sleeping good in like 4 days of that routine. and if i have more children i will continue to use this schedule. happy trails! What is a good bath time and bed time for 6 month old?
I usually have my 5 year old and 11 month old in the bed by 8:30. My 11 month ld has been on this schedule for a while now.
Here's our routine:

7:30- Feed him oatmeal

8:00- Get in the bath/brush his teeth

And then after the bath read a book and snuggle. Then at 8:30 we put him in his crib to go to sleep. He sleeps through the night until about 8:00 the next morning! It might take a while for you though...I've been doing this since my son was born! I feel it's also important to have a routine during the day...not a strict routine just guidelines for when he eats and naps. Hope this helps!
My son has been bathing around 7pm since he was 3 months old and it has become a ritual for the family. Bath, play in bed, last feeding, then sleep... Hope this helps, but for us, the night-time bath really relaxes my son for bed.
I have been on the same schedule for my son since he was aobut 2-1/2 weeks old...actually he kinda made the schedule himself. He would have his bath about 8:30, and nurse once more before bed, then go down for the night at about 10. HE would then sleep through the night. Wake up at about 7 or 8...nurse and go back to sleep for about 2 hours. He's now 2...and has slept through the night ever since. He now has a bath at about 7, and goes to bed without a fight at about8-8:30
Our 7 month old has been on the same schedule for bedtime since 4 months. We have a bottle at 6pm, a bath afterwards with reading books and singing soft songs while rocking until 7pm. Don't rock the baby to sleep, though. (They'll expect it if they wake up in the middle of the night and won't be able to soothe themselves back to sleep.) Then we lay her down and walk away. Since she knows the routine NEVER changes, she falls right to sleep within minutes. Times are flexible to fit your schedule... just don't put her to bed until at least 2 hours after waking up from her afternoon nap. Ours fought us on it if we tried bedtime within the 2 hour period.
We give our 6 month old a bath around 45 minutes before we want him to go to sleep. We bathe him and then we feed him and he goes right off to sleep. He has been sleeping thru the night since he was 4 weeks old. We did the same thing with our 2 year old and it worked great. We still do it with our 2 year old except we don't feed her after her bath. We have bath time at 7:15 and he is sleep in bed by 8:00
i used to bathe my daughter about an hour before bed time. both my children had a bed time of 8pm. my son is now 9 so i moved his bedtime to 830pm on school nights 930 on weekends
Your baby is adorable!! I have a four month old. I feed her at 8:00, im done feeding by 8:30-8:45. At 9:00 she gets her bath, and by the time I play with her a little bit, she's tired and out by 10. I've always fed her before I give her a bath, because the bath makes her tired, but your baby could be different, so whichever one seems to make her tired the most, do that last
Schedule? whats that?

In all seriousness though - most of the time we try to give our son his bath starting around 8 PM - 8:30 ish. Then brush teeth, stories, songs, etc. and in bed between 9 and 9:30. Back when he was 6 months, we were lucky to be out of his bedroom before 10 though as he was insecure and had other issues with sleeping...
well a good bath time is every other day at noon and a good bed time is when you feed the baby it's last boodle of the day
