Your first interview is going to be the first impression you make with your prospective employer. If it is your intent to land the job, to actually be considered for the position, then dress nicely: a business suit would be over-kill for BB%26amp;B. A conservative dress, a pants suit, something nice, not too dressy, not too flashy, not too risque.





What you do NOT want to do is give the impression you could care less about their opinion: flip-flops, shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes, aren't going to impress the employer. Neither are visible tattoos, piercings, scars, or other body alterations. Remember, you want them to hire you for the job. Keep in mind, you will be a reflection of the company, and they don't want THAT to reflect on them!





Go to your interview dressed nice, clean, and prepared. Be articulate, warm, and sincere. After the interview is completed, send a brief thank you note to the employer.
